Current openings:
- 1–2 fully-funded Ph.D. slots for Summer/Fall 2027 admission.
- 1 Postdoc position focused on multi-system resilience, human mobility, and network science.
- Research Assistants focused on large language models and data-driven traffic simulation.
Students with backgrounds in data science, computer science, operations research, transportation, geography, or related fields are welcome to apply. Ph.D. Funding Options:
- Self-funded Ph.D.
- Regular Ph.D. Scholarship: Full doctoral scholarship (~HK$19,600/month).
- Presidential PhD Scholarship: Requirements: 985 or QS Top-100 undergraduate (C9 preferred); master’s degree and overseas experience preferred; first-authored SCI publication preferred.
- Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS): Monthly stipend up to HK$27,100, plus tuition waiver and conference travel allowance. Requirements: 985 or QS Top-100 undergraduate (C9 preferred); master’s degree and overseas experience preferred; first-authored SCI publication preferred.
- Joint Ph.D. Program: Earn dual degrees from a mainland university and CityU. Full doctoral scholarship during the CityU HK period. C9 preferred.
